1. Why This Policy Exists

We build original graphics and products—no knock-offs, no shortcuts—and we expect the same respect in return. This page explains:

  • what kinds of rights are protected;
  • how you can tell us if something on emusion.com violates your rights;
  • what we do after we hear from you;
  • how an accused uploader can reply.

2. Rights We Recognise

RightTypical CoverageExamples

TrademarkSource-identifying words & logos“EMUSION™”, product badges

Patents and trade secrets may also apply; describe them clearly if relevant.

3. Spot a Problem? Send a “Takedown Notice”

Email [email protected] with subject line TAKEDOWN NOTICE and include all six items below:

  1. Your identity – full name, mailing address, phone, and (if different) the right-holder’s name.
  2. Proof of ownership – registration certificate, dated screenshots, portfolio link, or other clear evidence.
  3. Location of the alleged infringement – exact URL(s) or order number(s).
  4. Description of the work you own – title, brief summary, and any registration number.
  5. Good-faith statement – e.g. “I believe the disputed use is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law.”
  6. Digital or physical signature – typing your legal name counts.

Incomplete notices may delay removal, so double-check before sending.

4. What Happens Next?

StageTimeline*Action
Initial Review1 – 3 business daysWe confirm the notice is complete.
Provisional ActionSame windowWe may disable the content while we investigate.
NotificationWithin 5 daysWe email both you and the uploader explaining the decision.

*Times may stretch during peak seasons, but we aim for speed and fairness.

5. Counter-Notice (Uploader’s Right of Reply)

If the uploader believes we removed content in error, they may file a counter-notice that includes:

  • contact details;
  • a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake;
  • consent to U.S. federal jurisdiction in the Northern District of Texas.

We will forward that to you. Unless you file an action in court within 10 business days, we may restore the content, as the DMCA requires.

6. False Claims & Penalties

Knowingly submitting a bogus takedown or counter-notice can make you liable for damages (17 U.S.C. §512(f)). Please be accurate, honest, and sure of your rights.

7. Policy Updates

We revise this page when the law—or our business—changes. The “Issued” date above shows the current version; continued use of Emusion means you accept any updates.
